Delta WiFi refunds

Delta WiFi refund: what to do when inflight WiFi fails

You paid for internet access on a Delta flight and it didn't work. That's a refund request worth making, and it's a tedious one to make yourself.

RefundFlightWiFi reviews what you send, works out where the request should go, submits it, and manages the response.

What to document

The strongest requests are specific. If you're still in the air, this takes a minute:

  • Take a screenshot showing the problem, with the current time visible if you can.
  • Stay connected to the aircraft WiFi while you screenshot, if that's practical.
  • Take another screenshot later if the problem is still happening.
  • Note roughly when the outage started and when access came back.
  • Save the email or receipt showing what you paid and who charged you.

Who actually issues the refund

Who to ask depends on who took the money. Check the charge on your statement — sometimes it's the airline and sometimes it's the connectivity provider.

Part of what RefundFlightWiFi does is work out whether a request for your flight should go to Delta or to the connectivity provider, then send it to the right place.

What RefundFlightWiFi does

You give us the flight, the amount you paid, your receipt and whatever screenshots you have. We review the evidence, prepare a clear written request, submit it, and track the response.

If money is recovered, our fee is 35% of the amount recovered. If nothing is recovered, you pay nothing.
